CONGRATULATIONS!
This is an exciting and important time in you and your family's lives.  We are honored to share it with you.  As partners with you in this journey we want you to know how our practice works and how to contact us when you need us.

We are a group of four certified nurse midwives who work closely with a group of seven obstetricians/gynecologists. We see patients primarily in the Wellpointe, Rochester Hills office, Monday thru Friday, 8:30-4pm. We also have limited days and hours at our newest office:  Lake Orion.  Please ask the front desk staff for the hours and days when CNMs are available at that location. In addition to the office schedule, we divide on-call time between the four of us. We encourage patients to schedule several visits with each midwife. This allows you to create a relationship with each midwife individually, as the midwife on-call when you go into labor will be the midwife to attend the birth of your baby.

We attend births at Troy Beaumont Hospital's Family Birth Center.  Two of the Labor and Delivery private suites are equipped with Jacuzzi tubs especially for the midwives laboring patients. One of our practice's physicians is available at all times when we attending births. As midwives, we are your care provider throughout your stay in the hospital and are committed to being at the hospital when you are in active labor.  Because we partner with you in your care, it is important for you to be involved in the decisions that surround your birth experience, therefore birth plans are welcome.

  Between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30 pm, feel free to call the office with questions and concerns. After office hours and on weekends, if you have a question or concern that cannot wait until the office is open or you think you may be in labor, please call the answering service telephone number, 248-543-5677.  The midwife on-call will return your call.
