Comprehensive Breast Radiologist | Obstetrics & Gynecology & Breast Health Specialists located in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, MI | Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) Comprehensive Breast Radiologist to join our breast care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in breast imaging and procedures, a commitment to excellence in patient care, and an interest in working in a collaborative environment with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and technologists.

This position includes the full spectrum of breast imaging services and may include a mix of general diagnostic radiology based on the needs of the department and the candidate's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret all breast imaging modalities including:

Digital mammography (2D and 3D/Tomosynthesis)
Breast ultrasound
Automated Breast Ultrasound ABUS

Perform image-guided procedures:

Stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies
Pre-operative needle/wire localizations and radioactive seed localizations
Cyst aspirations (as needed)

Participate in and support a high-risk breast program with screening and diagnostic imaging follow-up
Collaborate with the breast care teams
Ensure compliance with ACR guidelines and MQSA standards
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research, and/or teaching activities as desired
Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, including clear communication with patients and referring providers

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree
Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent)
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging strongly preferred
MQSA certified (or eligible)
Proficient in performing image-guided breast procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
