Position Summary:

We are seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) Comprehensive Breast Radiologist to join our breast care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in breast imaging and procedures, a commitment to excellence in patient care, and an interest in working in a collaborative environment with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and technologists.

This position includes the full spectrum of breast imaging services and may include a mix of general diagnostic radiology based on the needs of the department and the candidate's interests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret all breast imaging modalities including:
    • Digital mammography (2D and 3D/Tomosynthesis)
    • Breast ultrasound
    • Automated Breast Ultrasound ABUS
  • Perform image-guided procedures:
    • Stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies
    • Pre-operative needle/wire localizations and radioactive seed localizations
    • Cyst aspirations (as needed)
  • Participate in and support a high-risk breast program with screening and diagnostic imaging follow-up
  • Collaborate with the breast care teams
  • Ensure compliance with ACR guidelines and MQSA standards
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research, and/or teaching activities as desired
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, including clear communication with patients and referring providers

 

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent)
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging strongly preferred
  • MQSA certified (or eligible)
  • Proficient in performing image-guided breast procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare delivery
